About Us

ACA Interiors is a West London-based high-end interior design studio delivering concept-to-completion projects for time-poor, high-net-worth individuals. With a focus on bespoke, lifestyle-driven spaces, we offer our clients a turnkey design experience that’s elegant, refined, and deeply personal.

We are now seeking a versatile, highly organised Design Assistant to support both our project execution and content output. This role is ideal for someone who’s confident handling samples, showrooms, and suppliers—but who also understands how to capture the behind-the-scenes magic for social media and marketing.

 

What You’ll Do

Project & Studio Support

– Source, order, and manage samples (fabrics, finishes, furniture)

– Prepare and update moodboards and FF&E presentations

– Develop 3D models in SketchUp and prepare them for rendering

– Produce and edit 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD.

– Assist with showroom visits, supplier communications, and pricing

– Maintain and grow our internal supplier and product library

– Support with logistics, scheduling, and document control- Attend site visits and installations 

 

Content & Marketing Support

– Capture behind-the-scenes content (photos/videos) from studio, site, and

showroom visits

– Organise and prep content for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest)

– Use Canva or InDesign to create basic marketing visuals and client materials

– Assist with post scheduling, caption prompts, and light copywriting

Essential Skills

AutoCAD – confident reading and editing plans

SketchUp – basic 3D visualisation and modelling

InDesign – for layouts and presentations

Canva – for quick marketing design work

Google Drive/Docs/Sheets – organisation & sharing

Instagram/TikTok– familiarity with content creation tools, trends, and formats

 

Bonus If You Have– Photography/videography skills

– Experience in luxury or high-end interiors

– Strong supplier and brand network across fabrics, furniture, finishes, etc.

– Basic copywriting or marketing knowledge

– Previous experience in a small design studio or creative startup

ACA Interiors is seeking a middleweight to senior freelance interior designer to join its team in London. This position flexible, ideally for 2 to 5 days a week on a project based contract.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience working on residential and boutique commercial projects.

Key responsibilities:

Work through all stages of the design process; concept, schematic, development, construction documentation and management of budgets and schedules

  • Create mood boards and design presentations
  • Document design through producing full drawing sets for tender, construction, and joinery
  • Document design through writing specifications in Estimac
  • Source and select FF&E, including furniture, finishes, hardware, and sanitary specifications, etc.
  • Review and assess supplier and contractors’ quotes
  • Coordinate the activities of on-site and off-site consultants
  • Conduct site and shop visits throughout production for quality assurance checks
  • Working with the wider project team and liaise daily with vendors, contractors, etc for project coordination
  • Delivery of projects all the way through to styling and photography

 

Essential technical skills and experience:

  • five plus years’ of working in the industry
  • degree level design qualification
  • experience in working in projects from concept to completion
  • experience developing technical drawing packages, schedules and specifications
  • demonstrate project management skills
  • good interpersonal and client facing skills
  • design/construction problem solving
  • ability to sketch/presentation of ideas and concepts
  • have strong FF&E knowledge and be up to date with current design trends
